The Arcdadia Paintings were made in the wake of 9/11, during a period that extended through 2003.  The multi-hued circles represent ocular points of reference, such as a camera's lens or a rifle's scope.  They are darkly whimsical remnants of the viewers gaze.  During this period I was interested in how our eyes move through a vista, following ancient predator/prey patterns within our collective memory of the natural world.
